Pasay condo residents give thanks to COVID-19 frontliners
Residents of a condominium in Pasay City showed their appreciation to the health workers of the Adventist Medical Center by giving them cheers and applause.
According to GMA News’ COVID-19 Bulletin, medical personnel, who are at the frontline in the battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were brought to tears on Thursday afternoon.
The residents came out of their balconies and loudly cheered on the frontliners to show their gratitude for their sacrifices.
The Inter Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases earlier urged the public to pay tribute to frontliners every 5 p.m. in the afternoon as they continue to combat the deadly viral disease.
The Philippines has so far reported 4,076 cases of COVID-19, including 203 fatalities and 124 recoveries. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
