Seven of the 33 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country are from San Juan City, according to Mayor Francis Zamora on Wednesday.
"As of 6 p.m. last night, San Juan has seven confirmed COVID cases," Zamora said at a forum, adding four of the seven had visited the prayer hall in Greenhills that was frequented by one of the earlier cases.
"Yung dalawa may history of travel sa Bali, Indonesia, yung isa under investigation pa," he said.
The mayor said the patients are now confined in various hospitals but "are all in stable condition."
Health Secretary Francisco Duque III on Tuesday said that two of the 33 patients are in critical condition, including an 86-year-old American.
