Marikina mayor confirms COVID-19 case in the city
Marikina Mayor Marcelino Teodoro on Monday bared that there is a confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) case in the city.
According to Mark Makalalad's report on Dobol B sa News TV, the confirmed case is an 86-year-old male who has a travel history from South Korea.

The case that Teodoro was referring to was among the 10 cases earlier confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH).
Teodoro has suspended classes in the city for three days to give way to a massive disinfection in the city’s school and public places.
According to the DOH on Sunday, the 9th case is an 86-year-old American male with pre-existing hypertension and history of travel to USA and South Korea. —Joviland Rita and Anthony Esguerra/KBK, GMA News
