Fire breaks out in commercial establishment on Recto Ave. in Manila

Fire broke out in a commercial establishment on Recto Avenue in Divisoria, Manila on Saturday, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region.

The fire affected the sixth floor of the mall, the BFP-NCR said.

According to a report by Bernadette Reyes on GMA News TV's Balitanghali, the fire started before 11 a.m.

As of posting time, the fire has already been put out, according to fire volunteers.

Employees said they immediately vacated the building after the fire alarm sounded. —KG, GMA News
