Marcos Bridge in Marikina opened Thursday, October 31, 2019

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced that the Marcos Bridge in Marikina will again be open on Thursday, October 31.

DPWH Secretary Mark Villar posted on his Facebook page a photo of the bridge with the caption, "As promised, the Marcos Bridge in Marikina will open tomorrow. #BuildBuildBuild."

The Marcos Bridge is one of the major roads commuters and motorists use when traveling between Marikina, Antipolo and Quezon City.

The rehabilitation of the bridge started on May 25. —NB, GMA News
