Manila paints its pedestrian lane with rainbow colors

A road crossing made up of hues of the rainbow has been unveiled in Arroceros Street near the Manila City Hall in a show of support for the LGBT community.

According to a report by Vicky Morales on GMA News' 24 Oras on Thursday, the project was launched by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to fulfill his promise that the Manila City government will be behind the LGBT community.

Aside from the pedestrian lane, Moreno also showed a newly asphalted road and the cleanliness of Manila's busiest intersection during his Facebook live on Tuesday.
