PNR train crowded even during non-peak hours
Contrary to popular opinion, trains of the Philippine National Railway are still jampacked with passengers even during non-peak hours.

"Tiis-tiis na lang," one passenger said, as for them PNR trains are the cheapest and fastest way to get to their destination.
Taguig resident and UST student Deryll Suan, for example, said he needs only to shell out P30 a day for his roundtrip commute in PNR trains, much lower compared to the P100 that he needs to shell out when he takes the LRT.
According to the Department of Transportation, less than 10 PNR trains service 70,000 passengers every day. It said it is doing everything it can to improve the situation. —Maki Pulido/KBK, GMA News
