Shots heard inside Pasay City Jail, male dormitory on lockdown

The male dormitory of the Pasay City Jail was put on lockdown Thursday noon after shots were heard inside, according to Manny Vargas' report on Super Radyo dzBB.

Visitors were ordered to leave the area as tension gripped the facility.

Some visitors interviewed in the report said the incident started with the jail wardens' move to transfer some inmates after contraband were found in their cells.

Visitors claimed to have heard at least two shots.

The fourth floor of male dormitory was occupied by members of the Batang City Jail Gang. —KBK, GMA News
