Deborah Sun denies drug raps: ‘Paglabas ko magpapa-drug test ako’

Actress Deborah Sun and three others underwent inquest proceedings today for drug charges.

Sun, Jean Louise Salvador in real life, her daughter Angela Salvador, Angela’s boyfriend Gerald de Guzman and de Guzman’s friend Gonzalo Gonzales were arrested early Sunday morning in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.

Sun denied taking and selling drugs. She said she would prove it as soon as she was allowed to post bail.

“Paglabas ko dito, magpapa-drug test ako sa private. Nakuha mo? Para makita nyo talaga na negative ako,” Sun told GMA News.

When asked if she was involved in drug trafficking, Sun replied, “Hindi nga rin. Wala akong kapera-pera.”

Sun said the police arrested her and her daughter after they saw the exchange of text messages between her daughter and suspect de Guzman.

“Nagkatawagan itong boyfriend ng anak ko. Text nang text. Text nang text. So yung text, naano ngayon ng pulis, nagte-text yung girlfriend. Pinuwersa tuloy magpunta sa bahay,” she said. —NB, GMA News
