Man arrested for physical abuse of 3 underage daughters

A father has been arrested for allegedly molesting his three daughters in Barangay E. Rodriguez in Quezon City, according to a report by James Agustin on Unang Balita on Tuesday.

"Sana patawarin na nila ako. Hindi ko na uulitin kung gusto nila hindi ako nakikita sa bahay doon ako sa palengke matutulog," the father said.

He asked for forgiveness after the girls complained that they were allegedly molested and beaten up by their father.

The first to file a complaint was his 13-year-old daughter, who said she was just beaten up by her father.

It was later discovered that she was also molested by her father several times. The same happened to her two sisters aged 11 and eight.

The police invited their parents to the station.

The mother discovered the physical abuse only on Monday evening.

The father admitted to committing the abuse several times on three of his seven children.

"Nabigla lang kasi. Sinabi ko kaninang umaga kung hindi magpapaalam. Ngayon umalis yung anak ko hindi ko alam kung saan patungo," he said.

He also admitted touching the private parts of his 13-year-old child, adding that this was because he was very drunk at that time.

The father of the three girls could be facing charges related to child abuse and physical injury.

Meanwhile, social workers are still doing an assessment of the situation to determine if the children should remain in the custody of their mother.

"Napatunayan ko naman na talagang may mga lapses sila bilang magulang. Kasi hindi nakapag-aral ang kanilang mga anak. Ito 13-years old Grade 2 lang ang natapos," said Barangay E. Rodriguez Chairman Marciano Buena-Agua Jr. — BAP, GMA News
