Flooded areas in Metro Manila on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019


Some areas in Metro Manila got flooded due to monsoon rains on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority - Flood Control said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV and in its social media posts that the following areas were flooded:

Mandaluyong:

  • EDSA-Guadix northbound: 8 inches; passable to all types of vehicle (9:07 a.m.)

Manila:

  • Rizal Avenue and Recto Avenue: gutter deep, 8 inches (past 6 a.m.)
  • Quirino Avenue-West Zamora: 8 inches; passable to all types of vehicle (7:50 a.m.)

Pasay:

  • Andrews Avenue and 12th Street (past 6 a.m.)

San Juan:

  • EDSA-Ortigas in front of POEA northbound and southbound: 8 inches; passable to all types of vehicle (9:12 a.m.)

 

Dobol B sa News TV also monitored the following areas as flooded:

Caloocan City:

  • Dagat-Dagatan Avenue: gutter-deep flood as of 7:14 a.m.

Manila:

  • Taft Avenue cor. Pedro Gil: gutter-deep as of 9:45 a.m.
  • Taft Avenue cor. United Nations Avenue: gutter deep as of 9:45 a.m.
  • Quirino Ave. cor. Leveriza: gutter deep as of 9:45 a.m.
  • Quirino Ave. cor. Pedro Gil: gutter deep as of 9:45 a.m.
  • Quirino Ave. cor. Anak Bayan: gutter deep as of 9:45 a.m.
  • T.M. Kalaw: gutter deep as of 10:08 a.m.
  • Fugoso Street
  • Bambang Street
  • España Ave. cor. Vicente Cruz Street
  • Pablo Ocampo cor. Arellano St.
  • Altura Street in front of Altura Market
  • Concha Street
