Heavy traffic chokes Metro Manila roads due to flood
Floods in some of Metro Manila's main thoroughfares have resulted in heavy traffic on Friday.
A report by Isa Avendaño-Umali on Balitanghali said heavy traffic was monitored along UN Avenue toward Taft Avenue, Padre Faura, some parts of Pedro Gil, Lawton, Paco, Quezon Boulevard, and R. Papa due to gutter-deep flood.
The same situation was also seen on España Boulevard and Manila Street, as tweeted by Super Radyo dzBB's Sam Nielsen.

Classes and government work have been suspended in Metro Manila due to the inclement weather that has started Thursday night.
Long lines were also reported in MRT and LRT stations as commuters tried to avoid the gridlock by taking the trains. —KBK, GMA News
