Mayor Isko, DENR's Cimatu inspect Manila estero cleanup

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu checked on an estero or estuary in Barangay 178 on Saturday, where several residents refused to evacuate to make way for the rehabilitation effort.

According to Mark Salazar's report on GMA News TV's Balitanghali, the polluted estero was cleansed, despite the resistance of several families to be relocated to Caloocan.
