68 truck, tricycle drivers at Manila ports tested positive for drugs —PDEA
Almost 70 truck and tricycle drivers at two major ports in Manila tested positive for drugs during simultaneous drug testing operations this week, the chief of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Saturday.
In interview on Super Radyo dzBB on Saturday, PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino was asked about the drug testing launched at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) North Harbor in Tondo, and Port of Manila South Harbor in the Port Area in Manila on Thursday.
Most of the time kasi, pag nag-positive yung driver, pati 'yung pahinante eh."
The random drug testing operations at the ports were part of the PDEA's "Oplan Harabas" effort aimed at stemming the drug problem in the country. — MDM, GMA News
