Isko Moreno proclaimed next mayor of Manila

The board of canvassers in Manila has declared Isko Moreno the next mayor of the city following the 2019 local elections.

Moreno, a former vice mayor, received 357,925 votes to defeat incumbent Mayor Joseph Estrada who had 210,605.

Former Mayor Alfredo Lim was third with 138,923.

Moreno's running mate Honey Lacuna was proclaimed the next vice mayor earlier in the day. —Margaret Claire Layug/NB, GMA News
