Abby Binay wins second term as Makati mayor

Makati City Mayor Abby Binay has won a second term, defeating five other candidates, including her brother Junjun, in the May 13 elections.

Abby was proclaimed Tuesday morning. Her husband, Luis Campos, has also won a second term as representative of Makati's second district.

Abby Binay, who garnered 179,522 votes opposite Junjun's 98,653, is the daughter of former Vice President Jejomar Binay and sister of reelectionist Senator Nancy Binay.

For vice mayor, Abby's running-mate Monique Lagdameo with 182,655 votes.

Both Abby and Luis were not present during their proclamation. —KBK, GMA News
