Incumbent mayor Ike Ponce proclaimed winner in Pateros mayoralty race

Pateros' incumbent mayor Ike Ponce is set for another term after he was proclaimed winner of the mayoralty race in the municipality on Tuesday.

Ponce won over his rival Doc Willie Buenaventura.

The incumbent mayor garnered 18,370 votes while Buenaventura had 8,775 votes.

Meanwhile, Gerald German won as vice mayor with 14,600 votes. 

His opponent Carlo Santos got 11,729 votes only.

Street sweepers began cleaning up the premises of the Pasig City Hall on Tuesday morning after the proclamation. —KG, GMA News
