Aguilar wins new term as Las Pinas mayor; Camille Villar takes congressional post

Imelda Aguilar won a fresh term as mayor of Las Pinas City, according to a report by Isa Avendano-Umali on Super Radyo DZBB.

Camille Villar, daughter of reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar and former senator Manny Villar, bagged was elected representative of the city's lone district.

Imelda Aguilar is Senator Villar's sister-in-law.

April Aguilar, daughter of the incumbent mayor, took the vice mayor post.

The winners were proclaimed by the city Board of Canvassers Monday night.

Las Pinas has a 328,384 registered voters. —LDF, GMA News
