Fake cosmetic surgeon arrested in Pasay City
A fake doctor who allegedly perform cosmetic surgery in a hotel has been arrested by the Pasay City police on Thursday.
According to a report by GMA News' Tina Panganiban-Perez aired over Saksi on Thursday, suspect Crisanto Ordoño was caught in the act after the police found him in the hotel beside his supposed set of surgical equipment.
The police launched the manhunt for Ordoño after one of the suspect's clients, identified only as "Karen," sought the authorities' help after having herself injected with silicone 10 times. As a result, Karen had several wounds in her chest.
Karen's expenses for the procedures reached up to P150,000.
Karen warned others who intend to undergo cosmetic surgery to check the credentials of medical consultants.
"Kaya 'wag silang magtitiwala basta-basta.
GMA News tried to reach the suspect for comment but Ordoño declined.
