Long lines of commuters build up at MRT3 stations
Long lines of passengers formed around several stations of the Metro Rail Transit System Line 3 (MRT3) on Tuesday morning.
In photos sent by GMA YouScoopers, long queues of commuters were seen at North Avenue, Araneta Center-Cubao, and Quezon Avenue stations.
Commuters at the North Avenue Station fell in line along the stairway of the station, while half of them were already outside of the station.
At the Quezon Avenue station, the line of passengers reached Mother Ignacia Street.
Fifteen trains are scheduled to operate during weekdays, according to MRT management.
Twelve trains were running as of 9 a.m., according to the Department of Transportation.
