DOH doctor, 5 others nabbed in Mandaluyong buy-bust operation

Six people, including a doctor assigned to the Department of Health (DOH), were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City.
After a two-month surveillance, Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority (PDEA) personnel on Wednesday midnight conducted the operation in a condominium unit against the DOH doctor who was allegedly running drug transactions, according to Allan Gatus' report on Dobol B sa News TV.
In Jun Veneracion's report on News To Go said authorities arrested Dr. Vanjoe De Guzman of DOH – National Capital Region and five more suspects including varsity player Keanu Andrea Flores and music festival organizer Francis Fajardo.
De Guzman's condo unit was being used as drug den, according to the authorities.
Authorities found a video from a cellphone of one of the suspects showing De Guzman injecting the melted shabu.
Authorities said the suspects usually conduct pot sessions inside the condominium unit, after which they would engage in orgies and film their acts.
Several videos and photos were also found showing the suspects engaging in orgies, the News To Go report said.
According to PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) director Levi Ortiz, Fajardo was possibly bringing party drugs to the parties he organized.
De Guzman, meanwhile, admitted to being a drug user but denied being a pusher.
But according to PDEA, they found text messages in the doctor’s cellphone regarding drug transactions. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
