No bomb threat in BGC —police
Police on Tuesday clarified that the presence of security personnel in Taguig City was part of the security measures in line with the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"The presence of security in the area is part of the security being implemented by the PNP (Philippine National Police) to secure our visitor. There is nothing to worry po," Southern Police District (SPD) spokesperson Jenny Tecson told GMA News Online in a text message.
On Twitter, some netizens expressed concern over a silver suitcase that was spotted in Bonifacio Global City. Some claimed that a bomb squad was also in the area.

Earlier, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) head Director Guillermo Eleazar said the police is ready for the arrival of the Chinese leader.
