Diño said Falcon filed for a 15-day leave of absence to give way for the investigation on the mauling incident.
He also said that Falcon, who was tight-lipped regarding the incident, was not arrested as there was no arrest warrant issued against him.
Physical injuries in relation to the anti-child abuse law charges have already been filed against Falcon and five others for severely beating a 16-year-old kid inside the barangay hall in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
DILG Secretary Eduardo Año had earlier said they will file administrative charges against Falcon and his council members for the incident. —KBK, GMA News
