Cops under fire for peeing in Malacañang tree after Duterte face-to-face
Some cops are in hot water for allegedly urinating in front of a balete tree in Malacañang after their face-to-face meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday.
According to a 24 Oras report by Saleema Refran, the incident would be investigated by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
NCRPO director Chief Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar said he was no longer surprised by what the policemen did.
A total of 102 policemen assigned in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon and Calabarzon were presented to Duterte.
Duterte berated the cops who were facing charges for illegal activities, such as rape, robbery-extortion, kidnap for ransom, serious illegal detention, illegal drugs, grave misconduct, and neglect of duty.
The President warned that he would have these cops "killed" if they will continue their ways.
"I will review your cases. —Anna Felicia Bajo/JST, GMA News
