Passengers stuck in MRT3 train for 30 minutes

Some passengers got stuck inside a Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) train for almost 30 minutes on Monday night.

A News To Go report said the train's doors suddenly closed while at the Taft Station in Pasay City at around 6 p.m. The train's lights and aircon also shut down.

The MRT3 said electric failure was the cause of the incident.

An hour before the incident, some 800 passengers were unloaded at the Kamuning Station in Quezon City due to a train's mechanical failure. —Anna Felicia Bajo/ALG, GMA News
