2 Pasay City inmates dead, possibly due to hot weather

Two inmates from the Pasay City Police headquarters have died on Tuesday morning, Mav Gonzales reported on Unang Balita.

The possible cause of death is due to complications brought about by the hot weather.

Officials said the inmates were found unconscious inside the detention area. They were rushed to the hospital but they died while undergoing medical treatment.

The authorities are conducting a probe on the cause of death of the said inmates.

Authorities are investigating if the men had pre-existing medical conditions.

There are also continuous efforts to decongest Pasay Police Station detention cells. — BAP, GMA News
