Heavy traffic expected in parts of NCR on Sunday due to ASEAN convoy dry run

Heavy traffic is expected in several parts of Metro Manila this Sunday, when authorities hold their third convoy dry run in preparation for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit in November.

A report on News To Go on Thursday said EDSA, parts of Makati, Taguig, Pasay, and Manila will be affected by the dry run. The southbound lanes of SCTEX and NLEX will be affected as well.

The three convoys will be coming from the Clark International Airport in Pampanga and will head to three different destinations — the Manila Hotel in Manila, Peninsula Manila in Makati, and the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

From the respective hotels, the convoys will proceed to the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) where the event will be held.

These routes will be part of the ceremonial lanes of the 31st ASEAN Summit to be held from November 10 to 14 in Manila.
