Heavy monsoon rains flood Metro Manila

Several commuters were stranded Monday when heavy monsoon rains enhanced by Tropical Storm Isang caused flooding in various areas in Metro Manila, a report by GMA News' Susan Enriquez on 24 Oras said.

On R. Papa Street in Manila, flood was waist-deep on Monday afternoon, causing several light vehicles to stall. On the other hand, several streets in Novaliches were also flooded, while almost zero-visibility was reported on North Avenue in Quezon City, resulting in heavy traffic.

YouScoopers, meanwhile, reported about gutter-high floods in Tondo and Rizal Avenue in Manila. —KBK, GMA News
