Kian's dad: How can he carry a .45 when he was just wearing boxer shorts?
The father of Kian delos Santos, the Grade 11 student killed by police in Caloocan City on Wednesday, still had a lot of question over his son's death two days after the incident.
In a report by Saleema Refran on "24 Oras" on Friday, Zaldy delos Santos said Kian was a good son who was never involved in illegal activities.
Zaldy poked holes on the police account of Kian's death, where they said the teenage boy engaged them in a firefight.
"Kasi nga 'yung sa testigo pinahawak siya ng baril tapos pinatakbo siya. Tapos 'yung short niya boxer, paano susuksok 'yung .45 doon?" said Zaldy, who vowed to seek justice for his son's death.
Police said they recovered a caliber .45 pistol and two sachets of suspected shabu from the victim. His relatives said the items do not belong to him.
Relatives of the victim belied the accusations against Kian, saying they plan to use the CCTV camera footage of the barangay against cops who killed him. The footage showed cops carrying Kian, contrary to police claims that the student resisted and took off.
A witness has come out saying that he heard Kian begging for his life before being killed by cops. —Anna Felicia Bajo/JST, GMA News
