The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that about 300 families lost their homes to the blaze.
The report said that the fire started from the kitchen of one of the residences.
Carmen Trinidad and Thelma Mauring, who are among the fire victims, said that they were not able to save any of their belongings.
Mauring said that she prioritized the safety of her seven grandchildren over their personal belongings.
BFP authorities said that the heavy rains and flooded areas have caused the delay in putting out the fire.
"Agad tumutulong yung Meralco, na-cut-off agad yung supply ng kuryente, walang naiulat na may na-kuryente," BFP-CAMANAVA Supt. Crisfo Diaz said.
No casualties were reported, though two residents sustained minor lacerations.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of damage. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KG/KVD/MDM, GMA News
