DOJ issues lookout bulletin against slain teen maid's employer

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II on Friday issued an immigration-lookout bulletin against the employer of the slain teen househelp who had worked at a posh Ayala Alabang village in Muntinlupa City.

In a three-page order, Aguirre instructed the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to monitor the whereabouts of Aleli Froilan Yap, who was being investigated over her involvement in the death of 17-year-old Richelle Sagang.

Yap is also facing arrest for a separate case: violation of Republic Act 8484 (Access Devices Regulations Act) pending before a Tagbilaran City court.

Sagang was shot to death last month. Her severed head was found in a creek in Barangay Pinagkaisahan, Makati City, while her body was recovered in Sta. Maria, Bulacan on January 12.

Her remains were identified by her father, Noel Sagang.

Police investigators had also identified two persons of interest in Sagang's killing: Chrissa Mae Anial Chai alias Samantha, and Niron Leon Marcos alias Aaron.

Chai and Marcos had alleged accompanied their employer, identified as "Aleli," as she told subdivision guards that Sagang had stolen from her.

The guards said that Sagang's face was bruised when she was brought to the guard house. — Virgil Lopez/DVM, GMA News
