Cardinal Tagle gives homily at Traslacion 2017 midnight mass

Manila Archbishop Jose Antonio Cardinal Tagle gave the homily during Monday morning's Black Nazarene Traslacion 2017-Mass at the Qurino Grandstand.

In his homily, Tagle spoke of this year's theme for the Traslacion, "Pag-ibig ang buklod ng ganap na pagkakaisa."

"Ito ang natutunan natin kay Hesus Nazareno: pag-ibig na nagsasabing hindi tayo naiiba, at pag-ibig na nagtataguyod," said the cardinal, explaining that empathy was in the nature of love.

He added that it was also in the nature of love to take action for the bettement of others.
