Track problem temporarily stops MRT-3 operations


The Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) southbound lane temporarily stopped operation Wednesday morning due to a track problem, Unang Balita reported.

In a Super Radyo dzBB interview, MRT-3 General Manager Ramon Buenafe said they detected a broken rail in the southbound lane of Shaw Boulevard Station.

The operation temporarily stopped at 5:50 a.m.

However, Buenafe said MRT-3 southbound lane operations resumed at 6:35 a.m. after technicians fixed the problem. —KG, GMA News
