Culiat residents remain at demolished Secret Garden
Many residents of Secret Garden in Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City still remained in their homes despite the demolition of their homes along Luzon Avenue on Tuesday, a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday said.
From the outside, a few homes had their lights on inside the compound while some roofs were again repaired within the day.
Residents said they would stay in the compound as long as they have a corner to sleep on and even if their houses had holes on the roof and walls.

Senior citizens in the area said they have been staying in the Secret Garden for a long time already.
One resident, Mang Juanito, showed his wounds from the clash with police on Tuesday.
John, also a resident of Secret Garden, said they believed the demolition was illegal and that is why many of them resist leaving.
He added they asked the sheriff for the court order but the official failed to show any document.
The operation started around 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Residents barricaded Luzon Avenue and argued they still have an ongoing hearing on the issue.
Tension gripped the area again on Wednesday as residents and members of the demolition team, backed up by police, faced off. —Joseph Tristan Roxas/KG, GMA News
