MMDA to implement traffic re-routing for INC activity
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that some Quezon City roads will be closed starting early morning Tuesday to accommodate a medical-dental mission spearheaded by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
The MMDA announced that all vehicles traveling to Fairview will have to take a right turn at the Sandiganbayan and exit at Litex.
All public transportation will be given two lanes to establish a counterflow so they can pick up and drop off commuters along Commonwealth Avenue - Sandigan towards Litex Road.
The re-routing will take effect from midnight of May 17 up to midnight of May 18.
The INC is holding a medical-dental mission called “Lingap sa Mamamayan” followed by the “Lingap-Pamamahayag ng mga Salita ng Diyos” at the Capitol in Quezon City.
Based on an Eagle News article, the activity will start on 11 a.m. and that the group will be giving out shoes and clothes, aside from the delivering medical and dental services.
The activity is aimed at providing assistance both to INC members and non-INC members. — BAP, GMA News
