SUV catches fire near US embassy
An SUV caught fire along Roxas boulevard, a few meters from the US Embassy, early Friday morning.

According to a first responder at the scene, around 2:50 a.m. the Toyota Land Cruiser with plate number LRR 111 hit a post and turned to its side Super Radyo dzBB's Luisito Santos reported.
Pinoy Aveñaleda said they heard the female driver, 28-year-old Sarah Grace Ranay from Quezon City, calling for help. She Was immediately rushed to Manila Doctors Hospital for treatment.
According to SFO2 Edilberto CRUZ of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Manila, Ranay was overspeeding and may have lost control of the vehicle then turned to its side before it burst into flames. The fire was put out around 3:04 a.m. There were no other cars involved in the incident but there was a build up of traffic in the area, which was cordoned off as authorities conduct clearing operations. — BAP, GMA News
