DPWH schedules road reblocking along EDSA during Holy Week

With the low volume of vehicles expected on EDSA during the Holy Week, the Department of Public Works and Highways is set to undertake road reblocking and repair projects.

The repairs will be done starting Holy Thursday, March 24, at 2 a.m., the DPWH-Metro Manila First District said in a statement.

The areas where road reblocking will be done are:

• EDSA northbound between Madison Street in San Juan City and Ortigas Avenue in Mandaluyong City; and
• EDSA southbound between Ortigas Flyover and Boni Avenue.

The DPWH said the repairs are expected to be finished by 2 p.m. of Easter Sunday, March 27.

Motorists were advised to take alternate routes during the four days when repair work will be done on Metro Manila's main thoroughfare. —KG, GMA News
