Sta. Mesa area flooded due to damaged Maynilad pipe
Sta. Mesa area in Manila is flooded due to a broken pipe of the Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Wednesday night, Luisito Santos reported for Super Radyo dzBB.

Several areas of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard in Sta. Mesa remain flooded early morning on Thursday, which may cause heavy traffic congestion.
Authorities are working to stop or lessen the flow of water in the area.
Meanwhile, some residents have decided to collect water from the broken pipe.

In an interview over Super Radyo dzBB, Maynilad Media Liaison Officer Grace Laxa said the agency already closed some service pipes but the water continued to flow.
"Mayroon talaga kaming leak sa Magsaysay, sa Sampaloc (area)," she said, adding that they enountered a problem as they tried to repair some pipes.
For now, the agency will focus on the repair of damaged pipes as they search for the source of the leak. — BAP, GMA News
