Pastillas Girl seeks NBI help to hunt mom’s killer

Angelica Jane Yap, popularly known as “Pastillas Girl,” has asked the National Bureau of Investigation to look into the killing of her mother.

A report from “GMA's “24 Oras” by John Consulta on Tuesday said Yap went directly to the NBI's Death Investigation Division with two witnesses who talked to the gunman before the commission of the crime.

“I believe 'yung nangyari sa mommy ko is a threat na rin not only for me but for my family.... First time namin magpapasko na hindi namin kasama 'yung mommy ko. Hindi lang 'yung akin yung iniisip ko sa mga kapatid ko bata pa sila,” Yap said.

One of the witnesses said the suspect blatantly told him he was there to kill a person.

“Sabi niya, 'kasi may itutumba ako dito sa lugar niyo eh.' Nagulat ako, sino kako? Sabi niya, 'Secret,'” the witness said.

“Kitang kita ko po noong gumanon 'yung buhok pagtama [ng bala]. Gumanon 'yung buhok ni kagawad, bagsak siya,” he added.

Yap also surrendered to the NBI the mobile phones of her mother for further forensic investigation.

The NBI is checking security footage copies that can help solve the case.

“Diyan natin makikilala 'yung suspect eh. Pati 'yung ginamit niyang sasakyan, kung mayroon ba siyang kasama makikita natin. So lahat ng dinaanan niya before during and after,” NBI DID Chief Atty. Danielito Lalusis said.
