Rails were replaced on the Light Rail Transit Line 1 tracks at the Monumento station in Caloocan City early Saturday morning.
The LRT-1 is the oldest of Metro Manila's light rail lines, having started operations in 1984. It links Roosevelt Avenue in Quezon City to Parañaque's Baclaran district.
