Masbate governor brought to Camp Bagong Diwa

Masbate Gov. Rizalina Lanete was brought to Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City Friday evening, hours after the Sandiganbayan ordered her detained there on charges of graft and plunder in connection with the pork barrel scam.

 

Lanete now joins her co-accused Janet Napoles inside the female dormitory of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, radio dzBB's Nimfa Ravelo reported.

 

Earlier, the anti-graft court's fourth division issued a commitment order directing the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group to bring Lanete to the BJMP female dormitory.

 

Lanete on Wednesday night surrendered to the CIDG hours after the anti-graft court ordered her arrest.
