Portion of Roxas Boulevard closed at 10 p.m. New Year’s Eve for city countdown
A part of Roxas Boulevard in Manila will be closed from 10 p.m. onwards Wednesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has said.
In an advisory, the MMDA indicated the affected areas of the boulevard will be near the site of a New Year countdown.
The MMDA also listed a rerouting plan for motorists affected by the road closure:
- Vehicles from northern part of Manila intending to use the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard going to CCP area shall turn left to P. Gil, right to M.H. del Pilar, right Pres. Quirino to destination.
- Vehicles from southern part of Manila intending to use the northbound lane of Roxas Blvd. going to Luneta area shall turn right to Pres. Quirino, left to Mabini to destination.
