Reported glitch inconviences early morning MRT passengers
A reported glitch inconvenienced many early morning rush hour passengers of the Metro Rail Transit on Thursday.
Many passengers at the MRT station at North Avenue in Quezon City were asked to get off the train, GMA News' Athena Imperial tweeted shortly after 6 a.m.
No explanation was immediately given to the passengers, Imperial added.

Several of the passengers could only stay in line, waiting for MRT service to resume.

A separate tweet at 7 a.m. by radio dzBB's Glen Juego said the MRT resumed operations after a glitch between Shaw and Boni Stations.

No further details were immediately available.
The MRT links North Avenue in Quezon City with Taft Avenue in Pasay City via Epifanio delos Santos Avenue.
On Wednesday, the MRT disclosed the Hong Kong-based railway operator tasked to audit the MRT warned of possible derailment with "substantial casualties" if the MRT's tracks are not immediately replaced. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
