DPWH road reblocking to affect 9 roads this weekend


Motorists may want to avoid nine areas in Metro Manila this weekend due to road repairs conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Wednesday.
 
The MMDA said the repairs will start at 10 p.m. Friday, October 3, and last until 5 a.m. of Monday, October 6.
 
It said the roads include:
 
Quezon City:
 
along Araneta Ave. from Calamba St. to Quezon Ave. (second lane, southbound) before and after Ma. Clara St.
along E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave./C-5 between Mercury Ave. and Richmond Ave. (second lane, southbound) in Katipunan F/O to First St.
Fairview Ave. from Winston St. to PureGold (third lane, southbound)
Mindanao Avenue from Old Sauyo Road to Rosal St., (third lane, southbound)
along C.P. Garcia Ave. Maginhawa St. to E. Jacinto St. (third lane)
along Congressional Avenue from April St. to Ayshire (first lane westbound)
 
Mandaluyong City:
 
  • along EDSA Between Connecticut to Libertad Mandaluyong City (southbound) after footbridge at corner Ortigas Ave. before and after Rochester St.
  • along EDSA between Temple Drive to United St. (northbound)
 
Pasig City:
 
  • along C-5 Road from CJ Caparas St, to Lanuza St. (outermost lane, southbound)
