3 cops linked to EDSA 'hulidap' send surrender feelers

At least three more police personnel linked to the September 1 "hulidap" along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue in Mandaluyong City have hinted they are willing to turn themselves in.

Quezon City Police District head Chief Superintendent Richard Albano disclosed this but did not give further details, radio dzBB reported early Thursday.

The report said Albano would not even give the ranks of the police personnel at this time.

So far, the Philippine National Police has charged two police personnel for the "hulidap," whose photo went viral online.

A third, Senior Inspector Allan Emlano, surfaced Wednesday and denied involvement in the crime.
