30 houses razed in Pasig City fire

At least 30 houses were razed in a fire that hit a residential area in Pasig City Monday afternoon.

 

Firefighters had a hard time getting to the area due to the narrow streets, according to a report on dzBB radio early Tuesday.

 

The fire started at 1 p.m. on Libis Street in the Tabing Ilog area in Pasig City.

 

It reached the third alarm before firefighters finally managed to put it out past 2 p.m.

 

A separate report on Radyo Mo Nationwide said at least 60 families were affected in the fire, and were brought to the local multi-purpose hall and basketball court.

 

Arson investigators are still determining what caused the fire. —KG, GMA News
