MMDA: 'Bourne Legacy' filming in Manila blamed for traffic

Its lead star may have left the country, but filming continued Wednesday for the upcoming spy thriller "The Bourne Legacy," the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

 

The MMDA indicated on its Twitter account the filming at the Jones Bridge in Manila may have affected traffic in other parts of the metropolis.

 

"'Bourne Legacy' filming at Jones Bridge," it said in reply to questions on why traffic was heavy in Aurora Boulevard going to Manila's Sta. Mesa district.

 

Renner left the country Tuesday but not before a tense moment where airport security agents took 15 minutes to clear him.

 

The actor had been stopped at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after security personnel saw what apppeared to be a small Swiss Army knife in Renner's handcarried luggage.
