MMDA: Part of Ramon Magsaysay Blvd closed for 'Bourne' filming
A portion of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard in Manila's Sta. Mesa district was closed again Sunday for the shooting of scenes for the upcoming spy thriller "The Bourne Legacy." The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the road portions were closed to traffic effective 1 a.m. Sunday. In an advisory posted on its Twitter account, the MMDA said the westbound part of R.M. Boulevard from V. Mapa St. to Pureza St. was to be closed to traffic. Counterflow would be allowed along the eastbound part of R.M. Boulevard. The MMDA also advised eastbound motorists coming from Legarda/Nagtahan/J.P Laurel Streets to go straight A.H. Lacson St., right G. Tuazon St., or take A.H. Lacson St. right España to destination. Westbound motorists from San Juan. Cubao and Mandaluyong can take Old Sta Mesa, left Valenzuela St., right Paco/Sta. Mesa Rd., right Pres. Quirino Ave. to destination. "Expect HEAVY TRAFFIC. Sorry for the inconvenience," it said. While the MMDA did not immediately indicate the arrangements were for the shooting, it affirmed this when asked by netizens. On Saturday, the MMDA closed a part of C.M.
