GMA Integrated News wins Outstanding TV News Reporting of the Year award

GMA Integrated News was once again hailed for its quality journalism!

According to a report by Jonathan Andal on "24 Oras," GMA Integrated News received the Outstanding TV News Reporting of the Year award at the 2023 Pro Patria Journalism Awards.

The Rotary Club of Manila recognized GMA Integrated News for its "relevant and timely content" as well as its "truthful, unbalanced, and interesting style of collaborative reporting."

"We are awarding the concept GMA Integrated News.... nakita ko na that ensures fairness, impartial, truthful and people are enriched with reporting sa GMA News," Amado Valdez, Chairman, Journalism Awards 2023, said.

The group acknowledged GMA Integrated News' integration and collaboration of its different platforms in delivering news.

"For the past eight months po, pinagsama-sama na namin ang mga newsroom ng Manila and all over the Philippines. Our unwavering commitment to delivering truthful and balanced news remain at the core of everything we do," GMA Senior Vice President and Head for GMA Integrated News Oliver Amoroso said.

"This recognition po affirms that we are moving on the right direction and strengthens our resolve on upholding accuracy, balance, and responsible journalism," he added.

The award comes as the new GMA Integrated News Weather Center was launched, along its high-tech equipment and weather presenters.
