Deadline for submitting documents for Bar exams moved to Feb. 15, 2022 — SC’s Leonen
The Supreme Court (SC) has moved the deadline for submitting the physical, original copies of documents for the Bar application process to February 15.
Applicants were previously directed to submit their documents by January 31.
“Yet, we recognize that the recent COVID-19 surge and the crippling effects of Typhoon Odette have made it difficult for many examinees to comply with the deadline,” Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said in a statement.
Leonen is also the Bar Examinations chairperson.
“Thus it is moved to sometime after the Bar examinations,” he added

Meanwhile, the deadline to take all three Samples Exams, which are the Examplify Tutorial, Sample Bar Examinations, and the Sample Bar Examination (version 2_8), were moved to 11:59 p.m. on February 2.
Leonen said a total of 10,905 or 92.6% have completed the requirement.
“Bar examinees, we got you covered. In the end, it is your tenacity that will help you endure all these obstacles,” Leonen said.
“In no time, you will be great lawyers, and by then you will have known that everything was worth it all along. While you make that reality happen, again and again, I say to you: Laban lang (keep fighting),” he said.
